ScanEdit Pro
Last updated: 28 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ScanEdit Pro (the "Service"), a document-editing application that runs entirely within your web browser. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ScanEdit Pro processes documents locally, inside your browser, on your own device. Your documents are never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored by ScanEdit Pro. No copy of the files you open, edit, or export is sent to us or to any third party by the Service. As a result, you alone control — and are solely responsible for — everything you process.
You represent that you own, or have obtained all necessary rights and authorization for, any document you process with the Service. Because all processing occurs locally on your device, you are solely and exclusively responsible for all content you process, create, and export.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Misuse of the Service for any of the above is strictly prohibited and may be unlawful in your jurisdiction. You bear full legal responsibility for such misuse.
Access to ScanEdit Pro may require a licence key purchased through our authorized distributor. Your licence is personal and non-transferable. We may revoke your licence key if we become aware of a violation of these Terms or of applicable law, without refund where permitted by law.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will meet your requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScanEdit Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because documents are processed only on your device, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the European Union and of the country in which the provider is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under your local law are not affected.
